Kate

I once knew this girl named Kate

She was a small town girl and man, she was great

She like art but she was kinda bad

And whenever someone told her that, i got mad

I defended her when she needed it or when i could

Because no one knew her, she was misunderstood

Even if she had a pretty face

She still knew her place.

She was my best friend named Kate

But at night, she would drown herself in self hate

She became one part Pills the other part Therapy

Then one day she met Jeremy.

Her life went from darkness to a bright light

In his shining armour, he was Kate’s knight

Kate being his princess but there was a problem

His happiness was at the bottom..

They depended on each other and it became unhealthy

He used drugs to make him happy and she?

She had depended on him and eventually depended on drugs as well

And as the months went she checked herself in the addiction hotel

She wasn’t addicted to the drugs, it was him
