MISTAKE

a word describing an inopprotune error

amistake is a think most times unexpected

if i make one, you laugh yet i feel unprotected

my self-esteem affected and confidence neglected

IGNORANT

in context it describes you

it describes me

used today this word will try to define me

but as exemplified by my strong leaders, your thoughts stand behind me

my brother and sister stand beside me and besides me, your adversaries will ring freedom's bell prouldy

you see i advocate the truth

i have so muc to say because I'M speaking for the youth

i'm speakin for the ones who you don't think are great because to what you percieve as standard intellegence

we do not equate

i am not a smdge of oil on a white shirt

i am not a mistake

though i err and fall short on more than one occasion, i rise and manifest with peace as my occupation

and with this message we send unanimous deliberation

truthfully?under the sun? we are one.

we all want respect

we all need to grieve

so let me be who father God wanted e to be

a brownskinned girl with a large cup of tea, should i spill?

on how my brother is the target when you are to kill?

or how my sister loses melanin while you just get the thrill?

a wall to protect us? or a wall to make us kneel?

we are stuck in the slave's mind

there is no escape unless e break the weakest link and hit freedom like a truck

we are stuck

this is Kaye

do you know how it feels when your opinion doesn't matter?

it's like a car that kills

like dining with someone without enjoying the meal

or no access to your phone though you always pay the bill

POINTLESS

raise caution when your denounce

because then you will find that i myself am profound
