Keep the Casket Open

Mama told'em to keep the casket open, but they decided to keep it closed

Seeing me would have them hurt, but having the casket open would show the dirt that's in society

I told mama to be brave and make sure everybody behaved, but when they found out what happened it was full rage, they acted as if they were animals locked in a cage fighting to get out as they would shout "this isn't right"

I feel some type of way towards whites, they look to us as if we are not bright, but let me say again "this isn't right" it's just reality where all you see is police brutality

Mama told'em to keep the casket open, it's hard to erase the pain that she gained from losing her son to that 9mm gun
