Keep Dreaming

The eyes sleep in the night A dream drips upon their sight. As if unaware that they truly aren't there, The feet dance until it is light. The lace twirls in an elegant motion, Blankets toss with a notion. Watching the Prince glide around, Fingers suddenly intertwine within his. The eyes wake to a beep, It certainly takes me for a leap. I take the memory and lock it in the cortex, Hoping that one day that'll be what's next.
