keep flight
Sitting, staring out the window is where I am found
Staring at the raindrops as they fall to the ground.
The day she went away, it was raining like this
Her presence and joyfulness I will forever miss.
Sun, don’t cry for me and birds, keep flight
For I am weak, but I will conquer sorrow if I might.
Oh flowers! Please smile, even just for a bit
I may have trouble sleeping, but I won’t think of it.
