Keep going!

I notice the sun has disappeared I've felt this feeling many times and though I know what it means I try not to fear and prepare for the climb Faking a smile, trudging along, and pretending not to care but the people I pass are all ignorant to the burden that I bear As days go on my smile has faded, Im tired of pretending because the climb atop this mountain seems to be never ending My pace has slowed, my face is flushed finally I've had enough I'm tired of this uphill battle and trying to be tough But then I look more closely and in the distance I can see The sun peaking above the mountain as bright as it can be My motivation returns and suddenly I'm not hurting I'm powerful, prideful, strong, and unbreakably determined
