Keep Going
I fill my days with so much noise,
My nights with useless tasks
Never giving myself any time
I can’t let myself be stagnant
That's when the pain comes
Like a monsoon it overtakes me
The pictures fill my head
The tears sting my eyes
I see the two of you
Smiling and laughing together
Not even noticing me sitting here
I feel my chest tighten
The bile rises in my throat
My world just turned upside down
I can’t catch my breath
The pictures fill my head
The tears sting my eyes
I see the two of you
Smiling and laughing together
I have to keep moving
Stopping means breaking down
I can’t lose my composure
The hurt is too much to bear
The pictures fill my head
The tears sting my eyes
I see the two of you
Smiling and laughing together
