KEEP ME AFLOAT

Living this way is a lot like a curse
Walking around with no sense of self worth
At times you feel like the days never end
Your miserable life is a repeating trend

Oh how easy it is to lose all hope
When you think you're at the end of your rope
As you look out to sea and see your death
You take what you think is your final breath

You let go of your rope to meet the sea
As you start to drown struggling to breathe
When all of a sudden it hits the wave
And it's none other than your saving grace

You're not alone in this treacherous life
Your friends are forever by your side
They'll throw you a float so you won't drown
And lift you up and never let you down

Look to others when you feel that dark curse
And they will revive that once lost self worth
The days still might feel that there is no end
At least you can say you spent them with friends

With friends by your side you always have hope
Even when your at the end of your rope
Life is still hard but you'll never feel dead
The dark thoughts will forever leave your head

You can let go of the rope and meet the sea
It can be scary but remember to breathe
Try to keep your head up above the waves
And your best friends will be your saving grace

You're not alone in this treacherous life
Your friends are forever by your side
They'll throw you a float so you won't drown
And lift you up and never let you down
