Keep Pushing

I’m a Mime Confined to an imaginary box of solitude Screaming. Banging on the walls that surround me searching & feeling to find my way out. But your on the outside and you can’t see The continuous civil war that resides within me. Bringing me up. But then pulling me down. Cant shake the feeling I’m going to drown. Not in water nor in darkness and pain But in confusion. We’re fighting a battle and society's not losing. This is the box in which we reside A list of unwritten laws in which we must abide. Not allowing truth to see light. Don't worry it’ll be alright Close your eyes young soldier and sleep through the night Cause when morning comes we continue the fight. Keep pushing young soldier. For in the morning we will win this fight. Keep Pushing.
