Keep singing Africa, even your grass is singing

Keep singing Africa, even your grass is singing

While waiting for metro this morning,
The silence was well broken,
By sweet singing,
Of a young African woman,
By herself,

Immersed and engrossed,.

Life must not be songless,
Once sung or heard,
A song is never lost.

Keep singing Africa,
Even your grass is singing,
And hearing Rumi over centuries,
"This is, how it is with love,
You take a bite, you chew, you digest,
Then you start singing."
