Keep Smiling

Keep smiling

Because the sky is more than just one color

Keep smiling

Because the rain sings as it falls around you.

Keep smiling

Because your stomach aches with the weight of a thousand flavors.

Keep smiling

Because you can.

Keep smiling

Even if it hurts today.

Keep smiling

Even if your heart clenches at the thought.

Keep smiling

Even when the tears threaten to fall.

Keep smiling

Even when they do.

Keep smiling

Because you must.

Keep smiling

When the anger is a knife in your gut.

Keep smiling

When the depression has a noose around your neck.

Keep smiling

When the anxiety tells you to stop.

Keep smiling

When the loss gets too much.

Keep smiling

Because that is how you will survive.
