Keep on trucking

Matthew 7:13-14        New King James Version

The Narrow Way

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Keep on trucking

If you know where you are going, why do you get lost?

Is it dependent on another for you really are not sure?

Then when you miss your destination you throw a fit

And the guilt that is within you will strike out to endure

Back up the flow of loving, but I don’t have time for that

Gear yourself for the stuff that is boiling out of me

The flesh in charge and rushing to a point that’s well-known

As depravity at its best in death-works tries strangle me
