Keep on trucking
Ephesians 4:29 New English Translation
29 You must let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for the building up of the one in need, that it would give grace to those who hear.
A distinction of voice has my spirit. What does it sound like, do you ask?
Well, let me think about that, brother. I can’t remember when I heard it last.
What? I go to church every Sunday with a bible in my hand?
I know you read it daily, and you still do not understand?
You look so clean and well-behaved. Everyone thinks you got it
And now you tell me it’s just an act, for you don’t know anything about it?
Is your life now just a routine with many good habits you have developed?
Are you running just like a machine that runs on juice that you borrowed?
Now I asked you where the juice comes from, and you can’t even tell me that?
You burn it without a thought for your comfort in self-indulgence?
And you want me to be just like you and follow your path and your example?
You convinced me that you've been bought for a price and can’t give me a sample?
“Keep on trucking. Little man,” Is that all you can say?
You look at everyone that’s lost and don’t get genuinely sentimental
Coming back to the voice you heard, where did you say it came from
Oh! You already forgot? Yep! You’re right. It’s not essential.
