Keep On Trying

I can't seem to put my heart into words And that's all I've ever wanted to do It's tough when you're the one stuck in your way And you can't figure out how to fix it It's time I put my skills to the test Go out of my way and try Even when it gets hard I'm not gonna quit I'm gonna keep on trying I know my own limitations I won't let anyone else tell me otherwise This is something I have to do for me The reason is within itself Yet how do I make this happen It's not like it comes naturally I have no idea what it takes To be the person I want to be With every step I take I'm falling Into the darkness that consumes For the first time in a long time I'm trying to get out And every moment that happens to me I will not take for granted I will use my mistakes wisely As a guide to keep on trying
