Keep Your Head Up

I will write it

I will speak it

I'll do anything

to leak it

once you've got it

bet' not tweak it

are you ready?

okay.

My mother, she was single

didn't go out and mingle,much

meanwhile I was at home

learning how to be tough

I fought,

while I could fight

if I felt weak

I'd start to write

let my emotions

take flight

knock off my demons

in the night

I won't tell where I've been

but I'll say where I'll go

straight up to the stars

when these chains let me go

what matters to me in life?

is not in the money I make

not in the things I've seen

not in the jobs I'll take

it's about dreaming big

for those kids

that live how you lived

to inspire and write

to do somthing right

to love and to fight

until the world sees light

and when my day is over

I'll be the angel in the sky
