the keeper

I am my lovers keeper. I am his shield from the dark world and the mirror of his greatest achievements i am my lovers keeper I encourage him to do his best and never ever settle for less I love him unconditionally , i dare never speak on his failures I am here to empower . to lift him up , to inspire and challenge him to do his very best I am my lovers keeper . when the world is just getting to be too much and he feels he cannot carry on i am the cloak that drapes around his shoulders and reminds him he is strong I am my lovers keeper I am his light in the dark , the hope that sparks his imagination that carries him to the light at the end of the tunnel that tells him everything will be okay I am my lovers keep and that is okay but sometimes the keeper wants to be kept and i know my time is on the way.
