Keeper of the Key

I thought you were a good friend,

Someone I could trust.

Someone that would be their

When i needed them the most.

Alone at my house,

I tell you everything.

Good and bad,

Happy and sad.

I thought I would never be judged by you,

You were my best friend.

I was gone just one day,

That's all it took.

You spread lies,

Told cruel jokes.

The trust that we had

Was gone in a flash.

Sitting here writing this,

Gun by my side,

I've made my choice.

Picking up the gun,

My hand is shaking bad.

I'm gonna pull the trigger,

So I'm saying bye-bye

To those who may care.

I'll be with my parents,

And my baby brother.

Don't you worry about me,

I'll be the keeper of the key.

The one at the golden gate.

Good luck to all,

You'll need it mate.
