Keeping Time

It's 1:41 am

I am still awake

The room is so lonely

I can only shake

Where are your two strong arms

beautiful hands to hold mine

Bring me into the safe, warm

sanctuary of your chest

Where is the gentle breath that calms me

Lullabye

I need the smell of cigarettes and oldspice

to reach R.E.M

It's 1:45

You are not here with me
