Kennedy

The name my mother gave me

She said it was strong

And at times I can live up to it

Then at times I can’t

Its when change occurs

I need to change

I may decide the road I want to take

Yet the universe has blocked it off

Instead of seeing a blessing

I become upset

Then mother comes and says my name 

Finally I begin seeing that it’s a positive

Not a Negative

Unfortunately mother will not always come

So it is up to me

A scary thought

But so very true

How do you change

The way you change

So my name is Kennedy

The name my mother gave me for strength

Is all I need to change 

The change within me
