The key to her chain
Five in the morning
Tossing and turning
Visions in my head keep reoccurring
Of a kid crying at the feet
Of the father she will never meet
For he died
Before she had time to survive
Her walls crumble
Her fears build
Yet this man's memory
Re-assures her he is here
She will live everyday
knowing this man can uphold her fame
For her is the key to her chain
