Keys

I lost the keys

To the cage

Where I keep my heart

I traced my steps

Back to the coffee shop, through the door

Into the cellar and back up once more

I frantically searched under my bed

Into the the kitchen, under the floorboards

I think it was stolen

Then thrown away

So now my heart stays, locked up in its cage.
