That kid
When I was young, all was fun.
then Middle school came along,
all I wanted was to fit in, and not to be "that kid"
as High school was near, I thought I could hear,
the bullied kid, who was full of fear.
then I thought to myself....
why lurk in the shadows, when you could stand out above the hallows.
so I befriended the kid, and together we defended,
the fate of kids who couldn't stand on their own,
and as a whole we discovered the meaning of hope.
