Kidnapped

If I were an author, I’d take you away Put you in my publications And make you a best seller Or perhaps settle for a hardcover Maybe even paperback, Type you up on a page Put you in chapters And have you twist the story line Play a happy tone When nominated for an award Wrap you up in my phrases Show you off on a pedestal, If I were an author, I’d take you A Way

I wrote this my freshman year of highschool for my English class; everyone seemed to love it.
