For the Kids

Every child has a dream

Every child has a name

Every child is loved by someone

But cancer is the one to blame 

For not letting kids trick or treat 

For not letting kids ride their bikes 

For not letting kids swing on the swings 

For not letting kids be kids 

These kids are the ones who inspire me 

The ones who motivate me to keep on going 

And I go on for them 

For the ones still fighting 

And the ones we have lost
