Kids Turned out Fine

I used to think I’ve felt the depth of depression,

But I never actually have

Until now.

Its an overwhelming sadness,

Almost painful.

Actually,

It is entirely painful.

So lonely,

Consuming

And all destroying.

Destroyer of happiness

Of self.

It destroys the person you love and intend to be

And instead makes you

No.

Forces you

To feel intense misery.

So deep you can’t understand it,

Only feel it.

Its almost as if its an indescribable feeling

That I can only try to analyze for you

But will simply fail too.

Its an all consuming sorrow.

That just wont go away.

That you allow yourself to feel.

You immerse yourself into this feeling

To the point of no return.

Depression.
