KiLL
i slump down farther onto my knees
not daring to look up at the figure hovering over me
he holds a gun, a pistol
"any last words?" he asks, grinding his teeth together
he rocks back and forth on his feet, as if waiting for my reply makes him nervous
i smile, grateful
at last
i can be released from this damned world
i inhale my last breath of air
"pull the damn trigger."
