Killer Moments

Life.

I have it.

You have it.

Is that not amazing?

Inside of us is

A beating heart,

A strong pulse,

A gentle breath,

But what makes life,

Incredibly surreal,

Are the moments

That make the heart stop,

That make the heart rage,

That make breathing impossible.

We live for it.

Those moments

That could kill us,

Make us feel so alive.

But for those moments,

When your insides,

They burn

With agony.

Your head aches,

It's filled

With frustration,

It's just another way

Of knowing

You're alive.

That you have life.

And with living life

Comes more

Breathless,

Raging,

Impossibly,

Amazing,

Moments.
