That Kind of Love

We had that early morning kind of love.

One that makes you want to lie in bed all day,

And swim in each other’s cold coffee kisses.

We had that whiskey sour kind of love.

One that makes you purse your lips,

And takes the edge off.

We had that ice cream sundae kind of love.

One that drips down the sides,

And leaves your hands sticky, sweet.
