The kindest tulip

You are the kindest tulip

The sweetest daffodil.

The morning heartache.

You are the wisest Rose

The burning delight.

You are my mortal veins

My bloodline of inflamed love.

You are the perfect Peony

The sacred dahlia

And the humble iris

You simply hold a world

Of flowery wits and heavenly beauty.
