When she looks at me with happiness in her eyes

When he looks at me with gratefulness on his face

Paying it forward was the greatest prize

When she walks with more confidence in every stride

When purpose is restored as he takes his next step

Let my kindness and good deeds be your guide

When words are not needed as tears turn to a smile

When embarrassment has turned to a newly found strength

Put forth effort and go the extra mile

When I lay my head on my warm pillow tonight,
