Kindness is infectious It gets into your soul It spreads throughout your body Like cancer through a mole Kindness can be daunting It can put you at unease When you’re used to other feelings When you usually displease Our lives are hectic whirlwinds That throw us here and there We seldom take a moment To make ourselves aware That words are so important Whether daggers or feathers we throw So choose what you say carefully To a friend or to a foe Kindness is contagious So pass it like the flu As you give away some kindness It will return to you
