A king
My best friend
My lover
My enemy
One heart
A future
We were each others forever
I failed us
The white picket fence, the big porch, 4 babies are now a black smoke cloud.
I inhale the cloud as i try to ease the pain
A King
in a residual yet beautiful nightmare. He's in too deep.
A Queen
needing to love herself but in a constant battle between the Kings words and her own
I exhale one last time, tears make trails down my face are like a wildfire no one can stop.
I blink back to reality and realize we will be fine because i think about what a great man once said
"she over looks my caring heart in search for a gangster. Will we ever be together? only time will tell"
but the pain of losing you comes back. suddenly i can't breathe and i need you
tell me you'd be back
lie to me and walk away
life will never be what it once was
but the memories of us will haunt me forever.
