the king is dead

the king is dead, his guard is down.

at my feet, his shattered crown.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John

without the king they must be gone.

thy kingdom come, what can’t be done.

on Earth as it is in hell

some see blue, others are blind

and vice versa

restless souls waiting east

for a prayer that won’t ever come.

Heaven is fallen, as have I

the all seeing one is late tonight

bless me, father. thank your men

for what cannot be done again.

Heavenly king, prince of pax

grant us peace in your last.

nothing else not Heaven nor Earth can save me now.

the king is (not) dead, the king is dead..

the king is dead
the king is dead
