The King of the Deep

With a crash and bang

The sky begins to rumble

With a crack of lightning

The sea begins to tremble

The vortex of blue surrounds us

With bits of the world unseen

The depths of the underwater hell engulfs us

Showing us what we wish not to see

The once glimmering palace of the deep

Now littered with trash and despair

Proves the point that man is weak

That we are not worthy to breathe air

The crew and I beg and plead

For mercy to come

But He with his trident saw our deed

For throwing over one bottle of rum

With a swift jab he threw me up

To a world I was supposed to be

But it looked rather different

While I was afloat at sea

To all my fellow men

I bring you a solemn warning

The king of the deep is watching

Preparing to attack in the morning
