King Of The Deep Blue Sea
King Of The Deep Blue Sea
LO! The king has reared himself a throne
In a strange city-- Alone.
Far in the southwest
Where the adventures and the thieves and the curious believe,
Yet wander to there eternal rest,
to take their final test...
His temples and palaces and statues,
Resemble what is not ours, yet could be,
The winds plea
But only to the King of The Deep Blue Sea,
The wicked sky,
Which sheltered his kingdom,
Was held to the will of the throne,
The king controls it,
With his will alone.
Underneath the sky,
The luminous waves lie
A force hard to control
Even for the king alone.
Yet with a wave, he controls the sea
With a move of a muscle
He ends all bustle.
No rays from the heavens reach his home,
For it’s an endless-night a endless fright
In the deep blue sea.
On the long night that envelops his throne,
Little light travels on the lurid sea,
Streams through the vicious currents slightly,
Gleams upon the kingdom far and hidden,
Through the coral- Through the bones- Through the oceans garden- Through the stone
Through the Kings throne,
Up the forgotten towers,
And many marvellous statues of sirs.
Yet while from a shadowy tower far from the throne.
Death looks Gigantically down...Alone.
