The King of Hearts

The King of Hearts, he mourns his loss, for

The Queen of Hearts has passed

The King of Hearts, so golden and proud

Now forever wears a shroud

The King of Hearts, once held his head high,

Once brave and larger than life

But now his heart is shrinking

His wife, only wishful thinking

The King of Hearts, now unrecognizable

His royal robe that barely touch the ground

Now is a growing pool at his feet

While his bones and physique shrink

The King of Hearts, broken beyond repair

His noble crown, now cracked and torn

He grows weaker and weaker by the day

Nothing will ever be the same
