King Midas

Tell me King Midas

Where did you get this power from?

You privately message the women who use your platform,

Infect her mind with charming words

I can't count how many girls you have in your belt

Or under that conveyor belt changing themselves for you

It shouldn't surprise me King Midas

You were always a vain person

Who would use good looks and fake love

To make them fall in love and change their looks

But still King Midas

I feel the need to say

That you're everything wrong in life

You promote your victims,

Let's call them clones since they have no originality now,

Instead of true beauty and hardwork

You know, things that actually deserve recognition

Really King Midas?

You're upset with her because she didn't fall for you,

Because she had the nerve to call you out

I guess your approval wasn't her weakspot

Really King Midas?

You're upset with her too?

What's wrong with what she said, she just spoke her truth

And so what if she doesn't look like one of your clones

Or any other shallow version of pretty?

You can't be serious King Midas

Did you have to make a post teasing them,

And others like them,

And then banish all of them after that?

I wonder if you know what this act has done

Then again, I doubt that you care about the women you hurt

Or about the teasing and harrassment that they face

That's okay because you'll get yours someday

That's sad King Midas

I couldn't help but hear the news

I can't believe Zoe would try to commit suicide

Since the bullying she faced was too much for her

I knew you would have to realize the consequences of your actions

But I wouldn't want that to happen through your daughter

Please renew your mind King Midas

Wash away the vanity, the greediness

Your selfish desires that's as unfulfilling as gold

Wash it all away in the river
