Kingdom

Here I sit

In this kingdom alone

My throne unadorned

My heart made of stone

Here I sit

In this kingdom alone

My world lies in ruins

Decrepit

Poisoned

Crumbling

The silence has become somehow humbling

As if gods of men hadn’t once obliterated all that stood in their path

This world has felt their boundless wrath

Now nothing remains

Nothing left to attain

So here I sit

In this kingdom alone
