The kingdom
The kingdom
So the empire was overthrown
And so the queen crowned someone king
And so hail the king she severally she had to sing
So the kingdom crumpled as if that was not a thing
And so the empress turned on to foreign rulers
So she pledged her loyalty to a foreign man
And so she watched her own kingdom burn
Maybe she sold her children to work as slaves under the sun
And so her highness the princess decided to leave the family
So she ran away with some sly young boy
And maybe she felt for her charming toy
Maybe she forgot she was Helen of Troy
And so the kingdom was left ruler less
So every jack dick and harry could play
And every darm kingdom would trump on it like clay
Maybe the citizen burned the castle and the air turned gray.
