Kingdom of Fire

The shadow figments of the East
Dance closer and closer to your eyes
Stuck in the same old distance
Twelve different pasts

Come ease your way into the Walls
Create your own sick desire

Loath being bothered
Yet desire another

Figures move away in the street
Figures look away in the halls

A person is staring
Such disappointment

A slit on my hand
Talked sinister sweet
When I thought through

Darkness in my head
More reassuring than every smile

Calmer than inverted storms
Pricking the sides of my eyes

Hello hello is anybody there
I will not speak
I ask too much of my friends

Another black September
Barely seen and not heard

Can they not see into my eyes
Can they not hear my silent corrosion

A slit on my hand
Made the shadows closer to my eyes

Same old distance
One desire

Although I try anyway I can
Passerby's only listen for a while

Tomorrow I'll be back in the kingdom of fire
