Kings Ransom- Acrostic.

Solitude, a cage held up high.

Thrown from your bounty, kings ransom nigh.

A truer cage had not been fashioned, held taut with the line.

Nearing kingdom malpractice, their cheers heard thrice.

Lethargic results, as the monarch's cage falls.

Empty gratification, homage to his eye.

Yellow skies , lit up with lights.

The tone seems absolete, filled with tension as the cage is thrown.

Metaphor: "Solitude, a cage held up high"

This is an acrostic poem spelling out a name, I believe. Each line is a separate sentence and conveys a message of it's own.
