Kismet

Light slowly trickles through the window

The smell of summer lingers in her hair

Gulls fill the air with sounds of awakening
A warm breeze flows gently into a white room
She breathes a deep breath and stands up
Crawling into her bathing suit
A feather floating in the wind
Her hair as golden as the sun
Eyes blue as the heavens
The virgin sand awaits her arrival
The ocean bellows her name
She walks carefully to the shore
Fawns observe her presence
The sun beats upon her tan skin
Just her and the unknown
A new day
Untouched.
The waves crash upon the shore
Light shimmering on each whitecap
Her small footprints are etched in the wet ground
Slowly being washed away
The ocean is merry
 Mother natures sign to swim
She touches the cool water with her foot
Letting her become one with the earth
Emerging herself into natures wonders
The salt stings her wounds
Reminding her she has imperfections
The tide carries away memories of the past
There are no worries here
As she lays on her back cleansing her soul
