The Kiss

You look so beautiful,
God put you together for me.
Sitting there in your comfy chair,
God sent you to be my best friend.
I am overjoyed to sit here next to you.

I kiss you
I feel you on the other side,
Your warmth and love
The way the sun opens up a flower.
The flower also does its time,
Reaching for the sun.

I can feel you melt
At the expense of my lips to yours,
The snow on a warm day,
Taking all your stresses away.

I kiss your forehead wishing enough hope through the day,
You kiss mine and I know everything will be OK.
You kiss my lips
I won’t forget you, I love you too.

You bring me peace,
The dozen red roses,
The wounds you’ve healed,
The love I feel,
I hope this isn’t just a dream.
