K.I.S.S.

The business of the day, puts us in a fog. The world at our fingertips, but we do not see. How grand it would be to be the child or the dog. The cares they give are pure of heart. Unlike ours, Cold. Fierce. Dark. The wisdom that beams from the eyes of a child, captured from their innocence of heart. How wonderful it would be, to have few fears or doubts. The parents, they care for their every need. How perfect it would be, to have such faith in our Father. Simpler times called for simpler measures. My how the world would be, Money. Hate. Worldly Gain. Blow, blow away. We should take note from innocent ones. But, “the eyes” we have earned, forever will they burn. Keep us in the dark, what shame we feel in adulthood. That is the problem. The simple things? They will keep us sane. Pure laughter of a child, music, sweet as honey. Maybe one day it will lift away the fog. Until then, We will reside in the dark.
