Kisses

It's been overwhelming, 

I'm working too hard to make it seem compelling.

I tried to make it revolve around you,

The sound of your voice,

The look in your eyes,

The touch of your lips,

However, 

I can't find a way to break through.

To let it flow into the words,

Like the syllables that fall from your lips, 

and whirl around in my ears.

I just want to write a poem about your kisses,

But I just can't find the right words.
