Kisses and Selfies

Five cups of coffee a day to waken me

to keep me from nodding off

the eyes of a 68 year old

the energy of a sloth

Hair tied up in a bun.

if my scrunchie falls out, they'll know.

They'll know of the mop of hair on my head

They'll know of the untamable curls i never want to show

Facebook pictures of food and chocolate

of me stuffing my face

but when Im not out with friends

im never saying grace

Instagram pictures of friends

of family and fun

but 6 days out of 7

im as alone as the number one

wall posts of jokes

friends' comments of missing me

but in conversations were lifeless

we never hangout, actually

My life looks together

they'll never know its an act

im as clumsy, stressed, and messy as the next college senior

but my happiness is a fact
