kissingyou

venus is shining brighter tonight, extra orange and pink

right outside my window, right where i can see her if i look

pretty and glowing. for you.

venus and i have that in common, hm?

guess that's what happens when i spend an afternoon just thinking about kissing you

hanging mistletoe, kissing you.

waking up in the morning, kissing you.

cooking dinner, kissing you.

kissing you kissing you kissing you

kissingyou

is it stupid if i tell you again how much this feels like a dream?

how did i ever get lucky enough for you to choose me? what did i ever do right for you to want this? and want this with me?

all that i know is i'm yours and i can't even fathom that i'll ever be happier than i am right now

but if kissing you stops being my best dream

and starts, somehow, being my reality

then how could i ever be anything but?
