The knife (put it down)

Put the knife down

My sweet baby

Put it down

Your not going crazy

Put it down

Just take my hand

And I'll show you that we can

Make it through all the pain

You won't be going insane

Drowning in a pool of

liquor flavored tears

Trying too wash down

All your fears

Sniffing all the cocaine sufferings

To mask the feelings of losing

I'll let you know that it's

gonna be alright

Because I'm here too fight

So put that knife down

Because I don't want you to leave

Put that rusty blade aside

Because your still good my eyes

Reminiscing on all the bad times

Will just drive you crazy

But if you let me prove that it's gonna be alright

You might just forgive yourself maybe

And just because they call you

Terrible

Doesn't mean your horrible

They're just jealous

Of how lucky you are too be so special

So why don't you

go ahead and put that knife down

And try to give a smile

For me

Sweating because of Molly

Poppin pills with miss Dolly

Puffing smoke in front of your face

Thinking that you can hide the pain

But at the end of the day

Was it all really worth it......

So just take my hand

And I'll show you that we can

Make it through all the pain

You won't be going insane

I'll be with you through thick and thin

Even when you feel like you can't win

I'll be your greatest friend

Even until the end
