The Knot

He knew not How to free the knot Of night’s enchantment And day’s embrace! He knew not How, from a simple dot, Came the human race! He walked on sand hot Dreamed, cried and sighed a lot Before he joined the muddy race! He knew not How to free the knot Of night’s enchantment And day’s embrace! He was killed, Brutally shot! An innocent smile Still lingers on his face! Rochdi Bouille June 13, 2012
