Know in the Class

What is it that makes us

       think.......

that stirs our thought and makes a boat sink?

We think of very little in the class,

for we ourselves have no class

in the room in which we are preached to

about what is right and what is wrong

or who is smart and who is dumb.

Teachers stand for knowledge,

but we stand for wisdom,

and as einstein said, we are the ones

who are on a lifelong journey to find it.

        Not the teachers.

        Not the school.

        Not any old fool.

We're beginning to know.

Teachers, let us want to know more
